Robert David Sullivan is the managing editor of CommonWealth (not Commonweal) magazine, which covers Massachusetts politics and government. He has also worked as a television and theater critic for the Boston Phoenix, as editor of One in Ten (the Phoenix's now-defunct gay-and-lesbian section), and as assistant editor at the (not yet defunct?) New York Blade. He was a writer and lighting "technician" for Naked Brunch, "Boston's only gay and lesbian improv troupe," from 1992 until 1995. He now lives in his hometown of Malden, Massachusetts, desparately hoping for a boyfriend and a decent burrito place in his neighborhood.
