Tec Screenwriting Seminar Begins January 12th
In a rare opportunity, Roland Tec will be offering a 6-week Screenwriting Intensive in New York City beginning Thursday, January 12th. The class will focus on story and the various tools available in the screenwriter's arsenal: dialogue, voiceover and purely visual storytelling. Classes will meet every Thursday evening, 6:30PM - 8:30PM.
Each participant will work on one 10-min. screenplay over the course of six weeks. The course will conclude with a public reading of student work by professional actors for a small invited audience. Class size will be limited to 8. Tuition is: $325. (15% discount to PGA & DG members) To be considered for the class, email 10 sample pages of a screenplay you've written or are working on. Roland Tec’s film credits include: ALL THE RAGE (Producer, Writer, Director), DEFIANCE (Co-Producer), MONSOON WEDDING (Supervising New York Producer), WE PEDAL UPHILL (Producer, Writer, Director) and he is currently producing and directing the forthcoming David Hockney documentary THUNDER EVERY DAY. Tec’s Off-Broadway playwriting credits include: BODILY FUNCTION, GRATUITOUS NUDITY (co-written with John Yearley), THE RUBBER ROOM (co-written with Gary Garrison) and THE WRECK BEHIND US.
