Wedding of the Century - in Hudson

Tonight at TSL in Hudson, NY:

Linda Mussmann and Claudia Bruce are excited to announce that they will be married at the last stroke of midnight on Saturday July 23 / Sunday July 24, 2011.

The ceremony will be held at Time & Space Limited, located at 434 Columbia Street, Hudson, NY, 12534. The Honorable Richard Scalera, Mayor of the City of Hudson, and The Honorable Cheryl Roberts, Town Justice, Austerlitz, New York, will preside.

Following the ceremony, there will be a midnight reception with music and dancing, which will last no later than 2am as the brides need their beauty sleep. However, the festivities will resume the following morning, Sunday, July 24 at a wedding brunch reception from 11am – 2pm honoring the newly married couple and the historic passage of the Marriage Equality Act in New York State, which was signed by Governor Mario Cuomo on June 24 at 11:55pm.

Both the wedding ceremony and the receptions are open to the public. One item of note: the regular TSL Parking Lot attendant has the night/morning off, so park well on your own (you know who will be checking).

Linda and Claudia are longtime partners. They have lived, worked and loved together for over 35 years and they are thrilled that this long fought-for day has finally arrived.
