Dennis Danziger
teaches English in a Los Angeles public high school and writes about education for the Huffington Post. He will be reading an excerpt from his forthcoming novel, A Short History of a Tall Jew.
Amy Friedman writes the internationally syndicated column Tell Me a Story, has published two memoirs, three audiobooks and two children's books. She teaches creative writing at UCLA Extension, and her memoir The Murderer's House, just completed, tells the story of her 7-year marriage to a man in prison for murder.
Larry Dean Harris is an Ovation-, LA Weekly- and GLAAD Theatre Award-nominated playwright currently working on his first full-length solo piece, Witness to the Bizarre. As a monologuist, he has performed at SPARK and SIT N SPIN at the Comedy Central Stage.
Karen Hart is winner: 2008 Song of the Year, 2006 Barry Manilow Award for lyric writing, Best Song 2006. With 3 world premiers of her music at the Dorothy Chandler Pavilion, her songs for motion pictures have been singled out by Variety, People Magazine and the L.A. Times. Maria Maggenti wrote and directed The Incredibly True Adventure of Two Girls in Love (1995) and Puccini For Beginners (2007). She was a writer on Without A Trace (CBS) for three seasons and just finished a pilot for NBC about women in prison.
Paul Outlaw is a performing artist born (bad) in Manhattan, raised (hell) in Berlin and living (in sin) in Los Angeles since 1998. Sensing a theme? The first act of his new solo play will be presented as a work-in-progress at Highways Performance Space in Santa Monica on February 26-27, 2010. His previous solo show, Berserker won the Best Male Dramatic Solo Award at the 2003 San Francisco International Fringe Festival and has toured worldwide.
Carl Palmer is an actor who's done lots of Theatre, TV, and some Film. His favorite project with Roland Tec was the wonderful We Pedal Uphill, though he also had a lot of fun working with him Off-Broadway as one of the leads in Rapt and taking his shirt off in Gratuitous Nudity.

Roland Tec is an award-winning playwright, composer and filmmaker. Most recent film credits include We Pedal Uphill: Stories from the States, 2001-2008 and Edward Zwick's Defiance, for which he served as co-producer. His 1999 film, All the Rage, is considered a hallmark of the queer indie film movement of the 1990s.
