ANYWAY...
When I watch Project Runway on demand, I have to click through this rather labyrinthine set of topics and subtopics until I come to a folder marked "Women."
(Thanks for that, Verizon Fios.) But it's all worth it.
I declared my fandom of PR in my very first post on Extra Criticum, so I'm just adding this as a sort of addendum. If you've never seen the show, watch the latest episode on demand. Tonight. Just try it.
In this episode, the 11 remaining designers make a runway show out of copies of the Los Angeles Times. In one day. And the work is so beautiful, it's positively jaw-dropping.
I couldn't know less about fashion, and I don't care about what's hip or in style. But I love creativity, and Project Runway is the greatest celebration of creativity I have ever seen on televison. It's just amazing.
Watch it. Seriously. You can thank me later.
