Yes it's true Craig Ferguson or Craig-i-la as I use to lovingly refer to him has married. I knew he was involved with someone for like the last 3 years but then he took it to the next level and married 'her'. I'm sure I'm not the only one to have admired him in this way, but I knew once we met the sparks would fly.
We've all been known to Google-stalk our "exes" from time to time but I am now openly admitting to Google-stalking celebrity men I fantasize about 'dating' or 'what have you'. CILFs as I call them and I think you get my drift. So this CILF is taken. I had big plans for us. (I'm scaring myself right now but hey I'm only as sick as my secrets so here one is). We, Craig and I, have similar senses of humor and that's what I am looking for in a man, humor, good (enough) looks, age appropriate (I usually go for men a little younger then myself) and either creative, but not necessarily so, just someone who could appreciate good humor, dark and over-the-top wit and in this case that was Craig and me.
Woe-is-me, I am slowly coming out of my grief here and trying to move on. My other two CILFs are taken - Denis Leary (long time married with kids) and Sasha Baron Cohen who alas is not only taken but a bit too young - that would have been a Tim Robbins/Susan Sarandon thing, not sure I'm into that. I dared watch him, Craig last night on the DVR, thinking I wouldn't be able to tolerate the pain of betrayal and be done with him once and for all, but alas I enjoyed him as much as I always have. How could I ever live without Craig's comedy sketches where he does a hilarious character called Aqua Man and off the wall versions of Larry King or Prince Charles? So all is forgiven as I need to support those in the 'biz' who stretch the limits of comedy as I believe he does and I do in my writing and I will just have to move onto my next CILF whomever he may be and tuck Craigy in the back of my CILF drawer for now, just in case.
