Dreams of Our 21st Century WPA...

OK. So... call me crazy but... with all this talk about stimulus this and stimulus that, am I the only member of the performing arts community who hears those words and immediately makes the irrational leap to fantasies about our very own new WPA Federal Theatre?

Did anybody read Paul Krugman in today's Times? (see: Franklin Delano Obama) Basically he says what he worries most about is an Obama stimulus package that's too small. Yup. Too small!
